Alright, so now that everything is all set, it should be a fairly easy task to come up with that kick-ass piece of work your client (or editor) is asking for.
Or is it?
Theoretically, as long as you’re all primed for writing, and have everything that you need right on hand, and in a generally good mood, you should be able to write up what’s needed. But as we all know, writers’ block can be a bitch when it happens. Sometimes, the right word or phrase escapes us. Or we find ourselves lacking a good enough angle.
Whatever happens, remember that we- as writers- are in the business of communication. Talk to your colleagues. Never be afraid to ask for help or advice. Clarify anything that needs clarifying with your editor or client.
Sometimes, all you need really is a fresh perspective. Maybe a little encouragement. Or just a breath of fresh air.
