I’ve only recently switched careers. For the most part of my work history, I’ve been a radio dude- did DJ work, put commercials together, produced all kinds of events and music programs, and even ran a kickass sales and marketing team. Now, to support my new job as a writer for a bunch of Australian websites, I thought it might be fitting that I get into the wonderful world of blogging (actually, as of this writing, there are already at least four other blogs up). So I’ve found myself writing a lot in my spare time (e.g. when I’m not writing to earn cash), which I suppose is alright.

You can consider this a public service of sorts, to help other writers get their bearings, with whatever little advice I can share. I really just write straight off what’s in my head. Admittedly, I haven’t been through any form of formal training when it comes to writing. But I AM a communicator, so yeah, I suppose that would suffice.

I believe writing IS for everybody. Style is secondary. More importantly, let your writing give you a voice you’ve never known you’ve had in you all along.
